tmj4. back to you. >> thank you, rebecca. charges filed in a stabbing death of a milwaukee chef a greenfield mass has been charged with whomside. police say shawn ostrom was killed. according to the complaint he was cut several times. local nun in mississippi has been laid to rest. a funeral afternoon. the service took place at st. joseph's convent chapel. her casket was surrounded by two families. her family from slinger and her spiritual family. sister merrill was also killed during that attack. she was laid to rest today in nazareth kentucky. a man confessed to murdering both nuns in mississippi last week. he gave no reason for killings.

in the mail. she noticed her mailbox was empty day after day. she called the post office. >> they say it's probably just a slow mail week. you know? and i'm thinking, no, no. i get a lot of mail. >> it began in july of 2015. shortly after her husband moved out. at first the post office thought someone was stealing her mail out of her box. they encouraged her to rent a box. and last month all of a sudden my mail's not coming back again. >> after not receiving her mail for several weeks, hawkins went to the post office to complain. >> i know how much mail i get. and i'm not getting any. [laughing] >> she goes, oh, well here's one for you. and it was just an advertisement thing. it wasn't even mail. you know? and i said no, i said that's junk mail. >> the post office box didn't solve the mail mystery interest.

one last idea. >> she said she was told to write her name on her mailbox so the mail carrier would know who she was. but as you might imagine, that didn't work either. >> it gets very frustrating because they're not -- they don't even look for it. they don't even try. you know? and they just keep making it your problem. >> hawkins eventually discovered a change of address had been filed without her permission. in all of her mail was being routed inside this ups store. a store she said her ex-husband rents a post office box in. >> we realize it can be a family member that's being vindictive in nature >> postal worker said he couldn't be sure that's what happened in this case >> it is a federal crime to change somebody's address without them knowing about it. it's stealing an address.

complaints investigated last year across the nation. hawkins believes there would be fewer complaints if the post office made it harder for someone to change people's address without their knowledge. >> for a dollar they change the address. so it's -- they don't ask for any i.d., they don't ask for anything. so anybody could go on and use somebody else's name. and say, i want their mail sent to timbuktu. >> shortly after we intered hawkins, a spokesperson for the united states post office said hawkins address has been changed back to the home she currently lives in and all her mail is now being delivered. the post office is looking into this case for possible criminal charges. >> if somebody thinks their mail is being rerouted is there anything they can do? any advice? >> great question. off the top -- first thing you should do is contact the post office directly. of course if that doesn't work, the next thing you should do is
